About the Escape Game: La Abadía de Atxuri

Is the Escape Room La Abadía de Atxuri inside the museum?

Yes, the adventure of our escape room “La Abadía de Atxuri,” as well as our other game “Journey into the Unknown,” takes place inside the Museum and among works of art.

Therefore, it is essential to be responsible and respect everything around you.

The Abbot or Abbess will ask you to sign a document to remind you that even though it’s a game, the pieces around you are heritage for all.

Our escape room is designed for people over 18 years old, but as many of you already know, “younger” players are often much better than us.

It’s true that it’s a game designed for adults, so there may be challenges that younger players might miss. For this reason and others, participants aged 11 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our game is designed to test your observation, teamwork, creativity, communication, and decision-making skills.

These are the only requirements to participate. Throughout the experience, you’ll face secret codes, mental puzzles, and team challenges that will push you to think cleverly and collaborate with your group.

Yes, absolutely. Just 2 people can play an escape room without any problem. In fact, some couples are very well coordinated. It’s a unique leisure activity for two.

Our game is designed for a maximum of 6 participants per session. Space is not an issue, as you’ll be able to move freely through a 16th-century convent. However, we believe the game is best enjoyed in groups of up to 6 people.

You don’t need to know any specific language to complete the mission. As for the instructions before the game, don’t worry, we’ll understand each other.

Also, during the booking process, you can choose the language you want to play in (Basque, Spanish, English).
